According to Corriere dello Sport, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might be close to bringing Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford.

The italian newspaper reports that the two sides are really near to reaching an agreement for next season, in a move that would bring the portuguese legend back to the place he called home for 6 seasons, between 2003 and 2009.

Ronaldo is about to complete his third year at Juventus and enter the last year of the deal he signed in 2018, but the italians might be willing to let Ronaldo leave if they fail to qualify for the next UEFA Champions League. If Juventus reaches a top-4 finish in Serie A though, Ronaldo might decide to stay put and finish his deal before moving on.

Ronaldo scored 118 goals for United in all competitions, before moving to Real Madrid.
