Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has finally joined the Super Eagles camp in Uyo ahead of the 2026 FOFA World Cup qualifiers, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Okoye is reported to be stranded in Lagos after local airport was shot down for almost due days due to the nationwide strike.

With Okoye’s arrival, head coach Finidi George now has the full squad of invited players at his disposal.

The 25 year old will participate in one training session before qualifier against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.

The session will take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, with the first 15 minutes open to the media and the public.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 8pm Nigeria time on Friday.
