Luiz pleased with his form
Brazil international defender David Luiz has revealed that he has found a way to deal with Chelsea's punishing fixture list.
The 31-year-old has featured in 26 of Chelsea's 28 Premier League matches so far this season and has also been involved in six cup games.
Injuries curtailed his 2017/18 campaign when he only played in 16 games but he is relishing a busier season, which has seen Chelsea challenge for a top-four spot in the Premier League, reach the Carabao Cup final and the last 16 of the Europa League.
Speaking ahead of Thursday's Europa League clash against Dynamo Kiev, which Chelsea are 5/1 to win 2-0, Luiz said: "I'm (feeling) very good. I rested against Fulham (on Sunday). You have to do something special in football, to have someone working with you every single game.
"I've had someone working with me since three weeks before the (2012) Champions League final in Munich and he still works with me now.
"We have to invest in our bodies and to have someone looking after me. I work with Chelsea, but also at home with him. He is someone who worked with Didier (Drogba), (Florent) Malouda and (Salomon) Kalou.
"He is someone who works very well. He works a lot in prevention. Before something happens, he works in prevention."
Chelsea can be backed at 7/2 to win the Europa League this season while they are 4/5 to finish in the top four of the Premier League.
