Ademola Lookman's potential transfer to Paris Saint-Germain appears to have stalled, with the Nigerian forward now likely to remain at Atalanta, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Recent reports had suggested that Lookman was a target for the Ligue 1 champions, with a long-term contract offer worth around €3.5m per season on the table.

However, with no concrete developments, Lookman's stay at the Serie A club seems increasingly probable.

The 26-year-old had requested to be omitted from Atalanta's squad for their Serie A opener against Lecce on Monday, citing the uncertainty surrounding his future.

With the transfer window still open, a late move cannot be ruled out, but for now, Lookman's future appears to be at Atalanta.
