Ademola Lookman scored the decisive goal as Atalanta edged Fiorentina 3-2 in a thrilling encounter at the Gewiss Stadium, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Nigerian international also registered an assist, setting up Mateo Retegui's equalizer, to help his side secure all three points.

Fiorentina took the lead through Lucas Martinez's 15th-minute strike, but Lookman's clever play allowed Retegui to level six minutes later.

Moise Kean restored Fiorentina's advantage on 32 minutes, only for Belgium's Charles De Ketelaere to equalize on the stroke of half-time.

Lookman then sealed the victory, netting the winner just a minute later, securing Atalanta's triumph.

The 25-year-old's strike marked his first league goal of the season, and his impressive performance will delight manager Gian Piero Gasperini.

Atalanta's win moves them up the Serie A table to 8th with six points.
