Lookman in good shape for Atalanta's Serie A Showdown with AC Milan
Atalanta's manager, Gian Piero Gasperini, has confirmed the fitness of Ademola Lookman ahead of their coming Serie A encounter with AC Milan, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The clash is set to take place at the Stadio Giuseppe Meaza, San Siro, this Sunday.
Lookman, who recently returned from Africa Cup of Nations duty with an injury, was absent during Atalanta's 3-0 victory over Sassuolo.
However, Gasperini reassured fans that the winger is now available for selection after successfully recovering from the setback.
Speaking to Football Italia, Gasperini expressed confidence in Lookman's readiness, stating, "His return is another reinforcement for us.”
“He looked good in training yesterday, and the pain from his injury was much better. He is ready to play tomorrow."
Despite the injury setback, the 26-year-old Lookman has been a pivotal contributor for Atalanta this season, having scored seven goals and provided three assists.
