Next season’s kick off date for the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) has been proposed to be in November. The news was revealed by the LMC chairman, Shehu Dikko.

Dikko explained that the decision was to give Continental-bound teams some competitive edge as about 10 or 15 league matches would have been played between this time.

The League chief suggested an August date is being played and could be given serious consideration if need be.
