"?Liverpool's star midfielder Philippe Coutinho is quite the wanted man nowadays. The Brazilian is being linked to both Real Madrid and Barcelona at the moment, and his astonishing strike against Argentina during the break has done the Reds no favours.

Coutinho is in the form of his life under Jurgen Klopp, and is a stand-out player in a brilliant Liverpool team. He has hit six goals and six assists for his club this season, seemingly enjoying himself immensely.

Many sources are tipping the player to move to Spain next season, and former Madrid full-back Roberto Carlos has said that his countryman is at the top of Zinedine Zidane's wishlist - transfer ban or not.

"Zinedine Zidane has been a long admirer of Coutinho, and has told club president Florentino Perez that the Brazilian is top of his wishlist."? the Brazilian legend told Diario Madridista.

Because I'm Brazilian, I'm very happy that Coutinho is doing well.

"I don't how long he has on his Liverpool contract, but Real Madrid want to sign the very best players."?

Well, it doesn't look like Coutinho wants this Liverpool dream to end anytime soon, and speaking to international teammate and Madrid full-back Marcello about a move to the Bernabeu, the 24-year-old said that he felt very much at home at Liverpool, a statement which is indicative of his desire to remain at Anfield.

ZERO HORA:

In a discussion Coutinho replied to Marcelo question if he'd like to join Real one day: "Klopp gives me confidence, I feel home" pic.twitter.com/aO3VjjQh1G

As things stand, Liverpool are top of the Premier League table, having played some of the best attacking football in years. Chelsea are hot on their heels just one point behind, and it looks set to be a really interesting race.

Coutinho has been a big part of that. And if the Reds do keep him, then there's no telling how far they can go.
