Liverpool place Lamine Camara high on January shortlist

Liverpool have identified Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara as a potential January signing as they look to strengthen the centre of their midfield, according to Football Insider.

The report says the Senegalese midfielder is currently high on Liverpool’s transfer list for the winter window. The club are understood to be considering a move for Camara after failing to bring in a new midfielder during the summer.

Liverpool had wanted to add another option in midfield earlier this year, but were unable to complete a deal. Camara has now emerged as one of the players being considered for January.

The 22-year-old has made six appearances for Monaco in the 2026/27 season across all competitions. He has scored one goal and provided one assist during that run.

Transfermarkt values Camara at 40 million euros.
