Liverpool make early approach for Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara

Liverpool have held preliminary talks with Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara over a possible move in January, but the French club want to keep the 22-year-old until the end of the current season, according to CaughtOffside.

Monaco believe Camara’s value could rise sharply and expect interest in the Senegal international to increase, giving them further reason to resist allowing him to leave before next summer.

Camara has made seven appearances for Monaco in all competitions this season. He has scored one goal and provided one assist.
