Liverpool 2-0 Manchester United: Virgil van Dijk and Mo Salah goals secure win
Virgil van Dijk has scored eight Premier League goals for Liverpool since joining in January 2018, the most of any centre-back
Liverpool continued their charge for a first league title in 30 years by beating rivals Manchester United.
Virgil van Dijk opened the scoring at Anfield when he headed in Trent Alexander-Arnold's early corner.
A Roberto Firmino strike was ruled out by VAR for a foul on David de Gea, who also made a couple of superb saves to prevent the Reds scoring more.
The hosts withstood some late pressure before Mohamed Salah made the win safe when he raced through to score.
