In a straightforward 2-0 win against Reims, Lionel Messi came off the bench to make his Paris Saint-Germain debut. Kylian Mbappé scored twice.
After 14 minutes, Kylian Mbappé got on the end of an enticing cross from ngel Di Mara to put PSG ahead.
Marshall Munetsi turned in a rebound for Reims early in the second half, but the goal was called out for offside.
PSG didn't need another jolt, and Mbappé was on hand to put the game out of reach when he got on the end of Achraf Hakimi's cross and side-footed home at the back post.
The Argentine had a quiet start to Ligue 1, but PSG has made it four wins in a row to go into the international break in first place.
Messi's era in Paris has begun.
