According to L'Equipe, Lyon are now looking at Chelsea's Emerson Palmieri. European Champions have put him for sale & even listening to loan offers. Lyon were in talks with Kurzawa but this deal looks unlikely as both parties couldn't agree personal terms, so now they are considering the Italian left back as an alternative on loan with an option to buy. Emerson, 27, played 4 games in Euros & helped Italy win the tournament. He started his career with Santos & moved to Roma in 2015 before leaving for Stamford Bridge in January 2018 for a fee of €29M. He has played 71 games for them & have won 3 European Silverware. Lyon see him as the best option now after their recent approach of Atleti' s Lodi & ManUtd' Telles were rejected. Emerson was recently tracked by Serie A clubs like Inter, Napoli & Roma.
