Liberty Professional defender Alfred Nelson insists his side will avoid the drop as the Ghana Premier League reaches home stretch.

The Dansoman-based side slipped to 11th on the table with four games to spare after their 1-0 home defeat against relegation-threatened Hearts of Oak on Wednesday.

Liberty travel to up north to face Wa All Stars in a rather difficult tie as a defeat could prove disastrous in the survival bid.

But strong centre-back Alfred Nelson insists they have the men capable to helping the side to stay afloat.

“Liberty will never be relegated. We have four more games to go and anything can happen,” he said

“It’s a disappointing we lost against Hearts but in football things happen. We’ll fight to stay on top.”
