Leeds snap up double loan deal
Leeds United have got their summer transfer window up and running with the arrival of Jack Harrison and Ben White on loan.
The 22-year-old Harrison spent last season at Elland Road from Manchester City and scored four goals in 42 appearances for Marcelo Bielsa's side.
Leeds now have an option to sign winger Harrison on a permanent deal at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
Meanwhile White, who penned signed a one-year contract extension at parent club Brighton to extend his deal on the south coast until June 2022, has had previous loan spells at both Newport County and Peterborough.
Brighton Under-23s coach Simon Rusk believes the 21-year-old White now has a great chance to impress at a Leeds side who will be looking to build on last season a push from promotion once again.
Rusk told the club's official website: "This is an exciting move for Ben and one that makes sense in his natural development.
"Ben will have to adapt once again, as he joins a new group of players and experiences an increased standard of quality and athleticism in the Championship.
"I'm delighted for Ben to experience playing at that level in front of bigger crowds, and we'll be keeping a close eye on his progress at Elland Road."
Leeds are 11/2 to win the Championship title next season.
