Lakeside crowned 2023 She Football champions

Lakeside Queens have emerged the winners of the 2023 She football championship.

She football is an annual developmental initiative organised by the Ayisat Yusuf-Aromire Foundation to empower young female football players.

Eight Female football clubs participated in the 2023 edition; DreamStar Ladies, Royaltoms Queens, Phoenix Queens, Lakeside Queens, Ijamido Queens, English Queens, Future Stars Queens, and Nakamura Queens.

Lakeside Queens defeated Royaltom Queens 1-0 in the final to win the championship at the Legacy pitch, National stadium, Surulere.
