Lagos State FA Cup champions for 2024 as emerged as 2023 title holders, Ikorodu City successfully defended the title after beating InterLagos FC in the final on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Oga Boys defeated maiden finalist 2-0 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos courtesy of goals from Harrison Uzondu Austin and Oyedokun Tosin.

 

Austin put Ikorodu ahead on 27 minute with a brilliant header before Tosin doubled the lead on 58 minute from the spot.

Both teams will represent Lagos State at the 2024 Federations Cup across the country.

The winner of the Federations Cup qualifies for a place in the CAF Confederations Cup next season
