Former Abia Warriors coach Ladan Bosso has been appointed the new coach of Nigeria Premier League side El-Kanemi Warriors.

Bosso takes over from Kelechi Emeteole, who ensured the Maiduguri club were not relegated last season after they finished 13th on the league table with 49 points from 38 matches.

Former Nigeria U-20 coach Bosso, who was linked with a return to hometown club Niger Tornadoes, has previously handled Wikki Tourists and Kano Pillars.
