Spanish La liga side Celta Vigo are exploiting options of bringing Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso back to Spain after the midfielder made it clear he was not making his loan move with Celtic Permanent.
Wakaso, 25, endured a frustrating spell in Scotland despite a super start to his loan move from Rubin Karzan where he scored on his debut.
The former AshGold man has attracted interest from Monaco and Espanyol who are both willing to meet his personal contractual terms.
Espanyol however face a stiff competition from Celta Vigo who are luring Wakaso with a higher annual salary and assured game time.
The Vigo based club are currently 11th on the Spanish La liga table and are assured of beating the drop this season.
President Carlos Maurino is said to be a long term admirer of the combative Ghanaian midfielder and is willing to slot it out with rivals to secure the signature of Wakaso.
