Kylian Mbappe says he could have left PSG ‘many times’ before Real Madrid move

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe says he had several opportunities to leave Paris Saint-Germain before eventually joining the Spanish club, but chose to wait for the right moment.

“I could have left PSG many times, but I stayed,” the France international said.

Mbappe’s ambition to play for Real Madrid had been known since the early stages of his career. However, the move did not take place until the summer of 2024, when he joined the Spanish club as a free agent.
