Kwesi Nyantakyi backtracks, Ghana FA boss to watch Hearts' CAF Confederation Cup against Esperance
Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi will watch Hearts' CAF Confederation Cup against Esperance in Accra, weeks after he decided to boycott their games after his near assault.
The highly-respected football administrator was nearly attacked by irate Hearts supporters after their 1-0 defeat to Malian side AC Djoliba last month.
The angry fans accused him of masterminding their defeat after a postponement request for a Premier League game against Ashantigold was declined by the Premier League Board.
He decided to boycott the club's matches until investigations into the matter was concluded.
But the affable Ghanaian FA leader has made a u-turn by revealing he will be at the Accra sports stadium to support the Phobians.
“I will be at the stadium on Saturday to support Hearts of Oak play against Esperance” He told Happy Fm.
Hearts must produce an all-conquering performance to advance to the next stage of the competition as they trail by a staggering 4-0.
