Kwara United has lodged an appeal against the N6 million fine imposed by the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) following the disruption of the live broadcast during their matchday 31 encounter against Akwa United, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Harmony Boys were also charged for providing false information which led to a fixture adjustment against.

In a conversation with Daily Post, Kwara United's media officer, Jimoh Bashir, confirmed the appeal, stating, "We have already appealed the fine by the NPFL. We await response from the league body."

It remains to be seen if the league organizers will revert the sanction or gift a soft landing to the Afonja Warriors.
