Kotoko won't employ expatriate coach- Operations Manager George Kennedy
Asante Kotoko have ruled out hiring an expatriate coach to replace Mas-Ud Dramani who has been told to proceed on leave, according to the club Operations Manager George Kennedy.
The club revealed last Thursday that as many as ten foreign coaches had forwarded their CVs for consideration.
Management argues that hiring an expatriate coach would not be idle for the club because of time constraint.
“As for the expatriate coaches, for now, we have to do away with them because when they come it’s going to take a longer time before they get used to the system so we are just going to consider the local coaches.” Kotoko’s Operations Manager George Kennedy is quoted by Zonal Sports.
Kotoko have since appointed assistant coach Michael Osei to take temporary charge and he began with a 0-0 draw with WAFA at home last Sunday.
