Kotoko legend Sarfo Gyamfi has accused ex-chairman Dr Kofi Kodua Sarpong and his officials of masterminding the disastrous performance of the team this season.

The controversial ex-Ghana international claims the celebrated ex-boss and his officials are paying losing bonuses to players in a bid to make the current management team unpopular.

Current chief executive Samuel Opoku Nti has come under lots of flak for the side’s unflattering campaign this season after their latest defeat to Liberty Professional sparked a massive revolt among the teeming supporters.

Players were held hostage for more than an hour at the Car Reindorf Park in Dansoman in the wake of their disappointing 3-1 defeat to the scientific soccer lads.

And the club’s legend, nicknamed, Black President, has attributed their downward spiral to the chartered accountant.

“KK Sarpong and his cohorts could easily pay losing bonuses to some players in Kotoko so they fail to garner positive results and have the management members sacked.” Gyamfi told Peace FM.
