Chief Executive officer of Asante Kotoko Samuel Opoku Nti, claims his office is yet to hear from coach Mas-Ud Dramani after he proposed an amicable settlement to end his contract with the club.
The former Black maidens coach has been under massive pressure from the Kotoko fans following an uninspiring start to the season which has seen the club plunged into the lower half of the league table.
Dramani has won the league twice in his two year stay with the club and became the first coach in the history of the club to win the double after a 2-1 triumph over Inter Allies last season.
Despite the impressive trophy winning spree since he took over from Maxwell Konadu there have been caveats, his performance on the continental stage leaves more to be desired with defeats to JSM Bejea and Barrack young controllers steaming frustrations and disappointments.
“He is on leave as far as I am concerned but he proposed we settle him amicably,’” Opoku Nti told Accra based Citi FM
“And the board received his proposal but we are yet to hear from him since that.”
Reports have linked David Duncan to the hot seat in the Ashanti regional capital with most teaming supporters of the red Army believing that the charismatic former Free State Stars coach will be the answer to their continental woes.
But Opoku Nti refused to rebuff or asset if Duncan was close to joining the club.
“I do not want to comment on this issue I will put it out there to our supporters if there is the need to say anything about that.”
Kotoko are 10th on the league table after nine round of games in the First Capital Plus premier league.
