Ghana international midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng proved he is not done yet as he assisted a goal for Schalke 04 in their 3-2 narrow victory over VfB Stuttgart in the German Bundesliga on Saturday.

The 27-year-old had come off the bench to replace Cameroonian international Choupo-Moting for the Royal Blues and he ensured he made an impact with the last 30 minutes of the tie.

He assisted Dutch international forward Jan-Klaas Huntelaar who netted a double in the game at the Veltins Arena.

Boateng has experienced a dip in form this season under former Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo with reports claiming he would move away from the Gelsenkirchen side in the summer.
