Kelechi John joins Portimonense

Portuguese club Portimonense have announced the signing of Nigerian midfielder Kelechi John Christian, Nigeriasoccernet.com has gathered.

The 25-year-old has joined Portimonense from UD Oliveirense on a contract that will last until the end of the 2026-27 season.

Kelechi John arrives at Portimonense after playing for UD Oliveirense last season, where he made 32 appearances and scored 2 goals.

The former El-Kanemi Warriors FC star began his career in Nigeria before moving to Portugal in 2016 to join Rio Ave FC's youth team.
