Kelechi Iheanacho was on the score sheet for his Leicester City side, but it was not enough to make them avoid defeat in the FA Cup fifth round on Tuesday night, Nigerisoccernet.com reports.

The Nigerian forward came off the bench to score in the 67th minute in the Foxes 2-1 loss to Blackburn Rovers at the King Power Stadium.

His goal came after Tyrhys Dolan and Sammie Szmodics struck for the Sky Bet Championship outfit either side of half-time, rendering his goal a consolation.

The goal is Iheanacho's 18th FA Cup goal in 24 games since making his debut in the competition.

His compatriot, Wifred Ndidi was on the bench in the day's match.
