Juventus have renewed their interest in Brahim Diaz as they begin planning their summer recruitment, with the Real Madrid attacking midfielder’s contract due to expire in June.

The Turin club are examining experienced players who could be available without a transfer fee and are focusing particularly on opportunities in the Spanish market. According to Tuttosport, Diaz remains one of the leading names on their shortlist.

The 27-year-old has yet to agree an extension with Real Madrid, leaving his future increasingly uncertain ahead of next summer. Juventus are considering whether to move early in an attempt to secure the Morocco international before the competition for his signature becomes even stronger.

Juventus face strong competition

A transfer to Italy is far from straightforward, however, with several clubs monitoring Diaz’s situation. Turkish sides Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are actively positioning themselves, as Africafoot reported exclusively.

AC Milan are also following developments closely and could compete for the player in the summer of 2027. The growing list of interested clubs means Juventus may need to act decisively if they are to turn their long-standing interest into an agreement.

Diaz has found opportunities limited this season, making only four appearances and providing one assist. His reduced role at Real Madrid comes as he approaches an important stage of his career, and Juventus hope that uncertainty over his position can work in their favour.

Despite his current situation, Diaz is valued at 35 million euros by Transfermarkt. He earns an annual salary of 7,290,000 euros, equivalent to 4,738,500,000 FCFA.

His contract in Spain expires next summer, creating the possibility of a free transfer if no renewal is reached. That prospect has made him an attractive target for Juventus, who are looking to strengthen their squad while avoiding a transfer fee.

Diaz is also preparing for Morocco’s forthcoming friendly against Mali. Juventus will continue to assess his situation alongside the interest from clubs in Turkey and AC Milan before deciding whether to make a formal move.
