Juventus make contact over Manchester City defender Rayan Ait-Nouri

Juventus have contacted Rayan Ait-Nouri’s representatives to enquire about the Manchester City full-back’s availability for a possible January transfer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 25-year-old Algeria international has not played a single Premier League minute for Enzo Maresca’s table-topping side this season, although he has featured in cup competitions.

Ait-Nouri has registered three assists in his two appearances. He provided one in Manchester City’s Champions League victory over Porto and added another in their EFL Cup win against Norwich.

Juventus are now considering whether to pursue a move for the left-back during the January window.

Ait-Nouri was also the subject of interest from Manchester United on transfer deadline day. However, Manchester City opted to retain him because there was too little time remaining in the window to complete a deal.
