Juventus backed to edge Atalanta as both sides seek a Serie A reset

Juventus host Atalanta at the Juventus Stadium in Turin on Sunday, 20 September 2026, with kick-off at 16:00 GMT. Mahamad Sangare, presenter of sports debate programme La VAR on Burkina info TV, has backed the home side to win the Serie A encounter at odds of 1.74.

Luciano Spalletti’s Juventus are eighth with seven points after four matches, while Atalanta are 11th on six. Both teams are looking to recover from disappointing league results.

Juventus have several injury concerns. Regular starters Manuel Locatelli, Khephren Thuram and Kenan Yildiz are unavailable, along with substitute full-back Cabal and attacking players Jeremie Boga and Ekhator.

Andrea Cambiaso and Weston McKennie have recovered and could return to the squad. Former Lille player Edon Zhegrova scored twice after coming off the bench last weekend, taking his Serie A tally to two goals.
