Daniele Rugani's future seems set to be at Ajax. According to the latest updates from TMW, significant progress has been made in the negotiations between Juventus and the Dutch club. The defender is expected to travel to Amsterdam next week to undergo medical exams and subsequently sign his contract with the Dutch club.

The terms of the deal.
Rugani will not be leaving Juventus on a permanent basis this time either. According to the latest reports, he will move to Ajax on a straight loan. At Ajax, he will reunite with coach Farioli, who will aim to help the Italian center-back achieve consistent playing time after spending much of the past few seasons on the bench.

In recent days, Rugani's agent, Davide Torchia, had met with Bologna representatives in Casteldebole. However, Bologna wanted to wait Mats Hummels' answer: the player has yet to declare his decision. But there was no timeline for waiting, so Rugani might have the intention (and desire) to try a new project.
