After a goalless first half largely dominated by the home side with Maja's goal disallowed after the assistant referee raised his flag for offside, the Baggies pushed further in the second half.

The goal came in the 62nd minute after getting on the end of Racic’s cross to break the deadlock.

It turned out to be the goal that gave West Brom their fifth victory from their first six fixtures.

Maja who played for 79 minutes of the game and his compatriot, Sami Ajayi who played for the entire duration of the game.

West Brom are back in action next weekend, travelling to Sheffield Wednesday’s Hillsborough.
