Jon Aramburu’s €58.3m release clause puts Premier League clubs on alert

Real Sociedad defender Jon Aramburu has attracted interest from Liverpool and Manchester City, according to TEAMtalk.

The 24-year-old is also being monitored by Tottenham, Newcastle and Everton as he considers a possible move to the Premier League.

Aramburu has impressed leading English clubs with his ability in one-on-one situations and his willingness to support attacks from defence. The Venezuela international can operate on either side of the back four, adding to his appeal for clubs seeking defensive versatility.

A release clause worth €58.3m is included in Aramburu’s contract with Real Sociedad.

The defender has played seven La Liga matches this season, but has not recorded a goal or an assist.
