Johnson eyes up Rovers rise
Bradley Johnson is hoping to be able to help new club Blackburn Rovers challenge for promotion from the Championship next season.
The 32-year-old, who has signed a two-year contract, has left Derby County after four years with the Rams, having previously helped Norwich City to clinch a place in the Premier League in 2015.

And Johnson is hoping to be able to help Rovers improve on having finished in 15th place in the Championship last season, having become the second major signing for Blackburn, with former England winger Stewart Downing having also headed to Ewood Park.
He told his new club's official website: "Being wanted and the ambition of the club were huge factors in me coming here. It's a club on the up, so it was a pretty easy decision for me.
"The club made it clear to me that they wanted me, so I wanted to sign straight away. I feel the desire and the ambition here. Everyone's excited about the new season.
"It's a new challenge here, working with new players and staff and I'm hoping we can all be successful together."
Blackburn begin their Championship season with a home clash with newly-promoted Charlton Athletic on Saturday 3rd August, with the two sides having last met in League One two seasons ago.
Rovers have won the last three league meetings at Ewood Park without conceding a goal.
Blackburn are 10/11 to win their season opener, with the draw priced at 12/5 and both teams to score at 5/6.
