Jobe Bellingham could earn first England call-up, reports say
Jobe Bellingham could be called up to the England squad for the next international break, according to TeamTalk.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has yet to make his senior debut for the Three Lions, but manager Thomas Tuchel and his coaching staff are reportedly impressed by his performances.
Bellingham is understood to be one of three promising young players who could receive their first opportunity with the national team.
The 20-year-old joined Borussia Dortmund last summer and has established himself primarily as a central midfielder. He can also operate further forward as a central attacking midfielder or play in a deeper holding role.
Bellingham’s potential selection would see him follow his brother Jude Bellingham into the England set-up. Jude has become an established member of the national team, while Jobe could now be in contention for his first senior call-up.
England won bronze medals at the most recent World Cup.
