Joan Garcia nearing Barcelona return ahead of Getafe match

Barcelona goalkeeper Joan Garcia is close to returning from injury but remains a doubt for the match against Getafe on 10 October.

The 25-year-old suffered the injury during the game against Racing in mid-September. He missed Barcelona’s final fixture before the international break and was also left out of the Spain squad.

According to Sport, Garcia is considered likely to be available for the meeting with Getafe, although his involvement has not yet been confirmed.

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick wants his first-choice goalkeeper to be fully fit for a demanding run of fixtures against Galatasaray, Real Betis, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
