Jack Grealish set for medical before returning to Everton on loan

Everton have reached a full agreement with Manchester City to re-sign Jack Grealish on loan, with the England international expected to undergo a medical on Tuesday morning before the move is formally announced.

The agreement for the 30-year-old attacking midfielder was completed between the clubs on Monday evening, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano. Grealish has also approved the move and is ready to return to Everton for another spell.

The transfer remains subject to the medical examination, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday morning. Once that process has been completed, Everton and Manchester City are expected to confirm the deal officially.

Grealish spent last season on loan at Everton, making 22 appearances for the club. During that campaign, he scored two goals and provided six assists.

His return would give Everton a familiar attacking option, with the player already having experience of the club’s squad and system from his previous loan. The latest agreement means Grealish is set to continue his career away from Manchester City for another season, although the details of the arrangement have not been disclosed.
