Italy’s manager Roberto Mancini signs a deal extension. Former Inter and Lazio coach has signed a new deal to continue as Azzurri’s manager until 2026. The new contract was confirmed by FIGC president Gabriele Gravina after a meeting of the Federal Council which was held today. Mancini will guide Italy for two European Cup and two World Cup. “Roberto Mancini has signed a new deal until 2026”, Gravina said.

On a press conference, Mancini said: “I’m very happy and I thank the president Gravina. This is a great moment for us. We extended our deal, we’ll have so many competitions. It’s not easy to win, but we’re trying to carry on a work began three years ago. There are many young players to focus on, we hope that our work can bear fruit very quickly, but then we know that sometimes we have to wait a little more. A little luck will also be needed at certain times. We will start by thinking of having our say in the European Championship ".
