After a trying time getting travelling documentation sorted and completing clearance, Ishaq Kayode Rafiu has now been unveiled by Slovenian side NK Maribor.

 

The striker  from Nigerian champions Rivers United on a three-year contract since July, but couldn't finalise the deal due to some bottlenecks.

Rafiu who scored 14 goals in the Nigeria Professional Football League last term is in line to debut against Radomlje on Sunday.

 

The Nigerian representative will complete the first training session in Ljudské vrtu on Wednesday according to the club's statement.
