Inzaghi recalls ‘gift’ of playing alongside Zidane at Juventus

Palermo head coach Filippo Inzaghi has reflected on his time playing with Zinedine Zidane at Juventus, describing the experience as “a gift”.

Inzaghi was speaking about the qualities that helped Zidane achieve success in his coaching career when he discussed their time together in Turin.

The pair were Juventus team-mates from 1997 to 2001. During the 1997-98 season, they won the Italian championship and reached the Champions League final.

Their partnership ended in the summer of 2001, when Inzaghi moved to Milan and Zidane joined Real Madrid.
