A new date will need to be arranged for Inverness CT's home match with Brechin City

Tuesday's Scottish Championship meeting between Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Brechin City has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

The sides were scheduled to meet at Caledonian Stadium, but a pitch inspection at 14:30 GMT resulted in the game being called off.

Brechin are bottom of the league, 11 points behind seventh-placed Inverness.

Caley Thistle said on Twitter: "Unfortunately, the weather has gotten the better of us and this evenings @Ladbrokes Championship match v @BrechinCityFC at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium has been called off."

Dunfermline Athletic host Greenock Morton in Tuesday's other scheduled Championship game, while Queen of the South entertain Montrose in a Scottish Cup third-round replay.
