Newly appointed Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, is set to take over Piero Ausilio's extension talks with Argentinian international striker Mauro Icardi (25), and seal the deal with Neroazzurri captain on a new long-term. To this end, the two are due to have a meeting between 2018 last days and 2019 starting ones. While the club are offering a 6 million euros annual salary, Icardi is asking for an at least 7.5 one.
