Injured Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah could return to action for Juventus next month.

The 26-year-old has stepped up his recovery process by working out in the gym.

The Ghana international has been out of action since he suffered a serious knee injury in November last year.

The former Udinese man was expected to be out for two months but complications meant the Black Star endured a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

He has been frozen out of Juventus pre-season squad with the return date estimated to be next month.

The injury to Asamoah is becoming a source of worry for many Ghanaians who see the versatile player as a big asset to the national team.
