Super Falcons of Nigeria striker, Ini Imatong has called time on her football playing career on Thursday.

Imatong, 28 took to her Instagram handle to make the announcement of her retirement.

She stated she was going to explore another part of the sport.

“A trip down memory lane. I’m extremely grateful for my playing career and the incredible memories, experiences and friendships I’ve had along the way,” According to Imatong's words on Instagram.

“Really excited for my next opportunity within the sport that has given me so much already. Here’s to the future.”

She had times at Portsmouth, Brighton in England, Vaxjo in Sweden and Lewes; a club she joined in January which afforded a chance to study an MBA in Football Industries.
