Zakaria backs Monaco after Chelsea miss out on Lamine Camara

Monaco captain Denis Zakaria says life at the Ligue 1 club is better than at Chelsea, despite having previously played for the London side.

Zakaria was speaking about the failed transfer of his Monaco team-mate Lamine Camara, who came close to joining Chelsea during the summer transfer window.

The move broke down on the final day after Monaco blocked the deal, preventing Camara from completing a switch to the Premier League club.

Camara has featured in seven matches for Monaco in all competitions this season. He has scored one goal and provided one assist.
