Arsenal central defender William Saliba could return to action in the club’s next match, according to HandofArsenal.

The France international may be given playing time in the forthcoming Champions League fixture against Slavia. However, Arsenal could instead wait until their next Premier League game, when they face Hull City, before bringing him back into the team.

Saliba’s availability will depend on how he comes through the pre-match training session. The defender has made considerable progress during his rehabilitation, but Arsenal are unwilling to take unnecessary risks with his recovery.

Saliba was injured at the 2026 World Cup and consequently missed the opening part of the current season.
