Wayne Rooney condemns Lisandro Martinez’s Manchester United criticism as ‘disrespectful’

Former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has criticised Lisandro Martinez for his comments about the club’s situation, describing them as “disrespectful”.

The Argentina defender openly questioned Manchester United’s leadership over their work in the transfer market after the team’s 2-0 Champions League defeat by Atletico.

Manchester United have now gone five matches without a win, with opponents winning three of those games.

There is also speculation that Manchester United manager Michael Carrick could be dismissed soon.
