Tottenham reach unwanted home landmark after Aston Villa defeat

Tottenham Hotspur suffered their 50th Premier League defeat at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Roberto De Zerbi’s side lost 3-2 to Aston Villa.

The London club has played at the stadium since 2018 and has now completed 141 Premier League matches there. The defeat against Aston Villa marked the latest setback at their current home and brought up the unwanted milestone.

By comparison, Arsenal played 382 Premier League matches at Emirates Stadium before suffering their 50th home defeat at the ground.

Tottenham will attempt to respond in their next Premier League fixture, when they travel to face Manchester United.
