Three arrested after death of Hendon midfielder Esekiel Williams

England’s football community has been left shocked by the death of 26-year-old midfielder Esekiel Williams, who played for London semi-professional club Hendon.

Williams died in hospital on Monday, 2 November, from serious injuries sustained during an attack in central Milton Keynes.

A murder investigation has been opened, and police have arrested three men in connection with the case. Two of the men are being held on suspicion of murder, while the third has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
